health concerns, the growth and development of adolescents and how to manage its
challenges.
• Performance Standard: appropriately manages concerns and challenges during
adolescence to achieve holistic health.
• MELCs: H7GD-Ib-13 explains the dimensions of holistic health (physical, mental/
intellectual, emotional, social, and moral-spiritual)

Students will classify the following pictures of activities into physical health, social health,
moral/spiritual health, emotional health, mental, and environmental health by writing them on their
proper column in their activity sheets. They will check their activity in the given rubric to interpret
their score.
• Analysis:
The students are asked this question;
1. How does holistic health affect a person?
2. Do you consider a person holistically healthy if he only achieved 4 or 5 dimensions of
holistic health?
• Abstraction:
The teacher will ask the question to the students.
1. Why do you think it is important to be: a. Physically healthy? b. Spiritually Healthy? c.

2. Why do you think it is important to be holistically healthy?
• Application:
The students will design an information awareness title “The Greatest Wealth Is Health”. They can choose how
to present their output by making poem, compose a jingle (at least 1min), make a poster slogan. If they are
member of an indigenous groups or living in an indigenous community, they can use the language/dialect that is
used in their community. They can do the presentation in individual or group. They are given 15mins to
prepare/practice their output/performance. The grading of the output is based from the teacher-student agreed
rubric.
