I always ensure that I can relate to my pupils. This helps the bond between me and my
pupils since they expect and they know that I am able to understand what they prefer. What
they need and why they are needed to be understood. In terms of lesson, I also make sure

that localized part of the lesson is not forgotten. My pupils’ sense of relatedness is
manifested in the behaviors for each of them.

Pupils are individually different, there are some who would like to work together with their
classmates while others prefer to work alone. I considered this psychological need by
designing proper activities and evaluation for each of them. However, those pupils who

prefer to work alone should not always work alone. The autonomy of the pupils can be
measure thru assessment but interaction with the classmates shall also be considered.

There are a lot of essential theories of learning for the pupils. They are vital to process the
learning of the pupils. I make sure that they receive the proper reinforcements every time
they achieve something. By this, it helps the competency and confidence of the pupils to do
more and make the tasks better. Operant conditioning is one of the essential theories to

apply in classroom learning especially in elementary level.
