LESSON PLAN
TOPIC : Flower
STUDENTS’ AGE : 5-10 Years Old
DURATION : 60 Minutes
GOALS : At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
1. Remember and pronounce ten names of Flowers (m1-3)
2. Able to sing the kinds of Flowers taught by the teacher.(m4)
3. Mention the colors of flower after arranging simple puzzle within numbers code
4. Able to recognize parts of Flowers through flowers missing games

METHOD : The Play Method


MATERIALS :
1. Flashcards
2. Simple Puzzle
I. PROCEDURES
A. Opening Activities (10 Minutes)
1. Greeting
2. Checking of students’ attendance
3. Giving some opening Questions to students related to the upcoming
material.
4. Explaining the purpose of the study.
B. Main Activities (40 Minutes)
1. The teacher explains the materials to students.
2. The teacher makes students to guess the Flowers’ names.
3. The teacher introduces the names of Flowers with the Flashcard.

4. The teacher then invites the students to sing along to make learning more fun.
5. The teacher then invites the students to play a simple puzzle game by dividing them into
small groups.
6. The teacher ask student to arrange the flower simple puzzle within numbers code and
mention the colors of it. .

7. The teacher then approaches each group to play a game “what’s missing game” and will be
end until the last student in each group.

C. Closing Activities (10 Minutes)


1. Giving summaries related to the material
2. Giving assignments
3. Giving overview related to the next material
II. MEDIA
A. Pictures of Flowers
Taken from the internet and modified into a learning media.

B. Simple Puzzle
Taken from the internet and modified into a learning media.
III. GAMES
A. Simple Puzzle Games
The teacher divides students into groups. Each group gets puzzle in pieces. The teacher then
asks students to unite the puzzle, matching and build them to stimulate their cognitive. After
they finish the puzzle correctly, they will use it for the next game.
B. What’s Missing Games
The teacher place target flashcards on a table with the picture facing up. Students stand
around the table so they can see all the flashcards. Teacher asks the students to close their
eyes. When they do, teacher takes away one of the flashcards. Then, teacher tell the students
to open their eyes. The first student to spot and say the missing part of flower wins that
round. Continue with the other flowers picture
