The meeting started at exactly 03:40 PM with complete attendees

1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order and presided by Mr. Kiervy Paul
Tanodra. The objectives of the meeting were to talk about the cost
and budget management. Also, to discuss about the proposed
marketing strategies.
1.1 APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING
All the attendees approved the minutes of the meeting.
1.2 CORRECTION ON THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
Revisions on the previous minutes were made.
• The new outdoor stainless steel gas grill delivery was delayed
due to the inclement weather. The delivery dates have changed
from September 30, 2022, to October 5, 2022.
• There was a miscalculation on the units of the new Filipino-Thai
dish. The indicated number of units was 10, however the number

of products sold should be at least 16 to reach the break-even


point.

2 REPORTS
2.1 COST & BUDGET MANAGEMENT REPORT
• Due to the inclement weather, prices of seafoods have
increased. If the cost of seafoods continues to escalate, the
seafood dishes may temporarily be removed.
• Ms. Trinidad is in charge of communicating with the seafood
supplier for further negotiations with the prices.
2.2 RESTAURANT MARKETING CHALLENGES: EFFECT OF THE
PANDEMIC
• Mr. Ugalde has presented the challenges faced by the restaurant
from early 2020. It was stated that the rent, and other utilities
expenses were incurred despite being closed for a year. In
addition, some of the employees were laid off during the
pandemic.
• It was also explained that upon re-opening, the prices on the
menu increased due to the difficulties of securing a supplier, and
due to the delivery fees of the condiments and ingredients
abroad.
• Despite re-opening on early 2021, the net income was not
enough to cover all the expenses incurred during the pandemic.
2.3 ONLINE REACH: MAKE A NEW MARKETING STRATEGY
• Ms. Trinidad suggested the use of social media platforms in
promoting the restaurant. The aim of the is to enhance sales,
increase brand recognition, and expand audience throughout
communities. Along with this, Ms. Trinidad suggested the
utilization of Meta Business Suite app, paid advertisements, and
social media influencers.

3 UNFINISHED BUSINESS
3.1 HEALTH & HYGIENE

Mr. Kiervy Paul Tanodra requested a follow-up regarding the five


employees and four staff members who have not finished their
vaccinations and booster shots.

• Ms. Valenzuela has informed everyone that all the staff and
employees have finished their vaccination and booster shots.
• The new policy was discussed reminding everyone that aside
from the mandatory usage of masks, the employees must adhere
to the daily PCR test.
• Mr. Tanodra has announced the new hygiene kit. The kit consists
of alcohol, face masks, wipes, facial tissue, and soap. The cost
of the kit would be included in the annual budget.

4 NEW BUSINESSES
4.1 AUTOMATION: IMPLEMENT AN ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM
• Mr. Viernes proposed the implementation of an Online ordering
system. The proposed plan would like to utilize Food Panda, Grab
Food or any delivery services to cater customers in the comfort
of their own homes. The payment schemes mentioned in Mr.
Viernes’ proposal are the following: Online banking, credit/debit
card, and Cash on delivery.
4.2 ONLINE VISIBILITY: E-COMMERCE
• Ms. Valenzuela proposed that the restaurant must also utilize
online platform to increase online presence or ‘visibility’. She
mentioned that by utilizing the internet search engines and online

retail platform, the restaurant’s online presence would increase.


By establishing online presence, the customers would be
intrigued, and they will enjoy what the restaurant currently offers.

5 ADJOURNMENT
Due to time constraints, Mr. Kiervy Paul Tanodra has requested Ms.
Valenzuela to continue the following topic during next week’s meeting
to be held on October 6, 2022. The time will be announced on a later
date.
The meeting was then adjourned by Mr. Viernes and Ms. Valenzuela as
the seconder. The meeting has ended on exactly 03:45 PM
