Instruction: Make a deliverable based on what you have read in the previous week.

WHAT IS A DELIVERABLE?
Think of deliverables as any outcome of a user research project. They don't have to be something
fancy and can be as basic as a report. Deliverables are the pieces that take all the research, summarize it,
and show it in a format (or more than one). Deliverables is a preparatory way for your research.

Format for your Deliverables:

1. Provide an introduction of your deliverable.

Example:

The objective of this study is to research about the culture of research.

Research is about the process of answering questions that may lead to new
knowledge. It consist of two words, prefix re which means again and search which
means to look new knowledge.

2. Choose the some vocabulary word or phrases provided in the previous reading and find its
meaning along with its citations or reference.

Example:

1. Research

● According to the Western Sydney University (2020), Research is

defined as the creation of new knowledge and/or the use of
existing knowledge in a new and creative way so as to generate
new concepts, methodologies and understandings. This could
include synthesis and analysis of previous research to the extent
that it leads to new and creative outcomes.
● According to J. Creswell (2008), research is a process of steps
used to collect and analyze information to increase our
understanding of a topic or issue". It consists of three steps: pose
a question, collect data to answer the question, and present an
answer to the question.[6]

the Encyclopedia of Social Sciences as, The manupulation of
things, concepts or symbols for the purpose of gerneralizing to
extend, correct or verify knowledge, whether that knowledge aids
in construction of theory or in the practice of an art.”

3. Provide an analysis paper on what you have understood about the vocabulary words along with
citations from authors, books and schools with the year it was written or said.

Example:

Based on our understanding, research is a process of systematic investigation that

requires critical thinking and past reading from different articles and authors. According
to Mujis (2011) and Ransome (2012), research does not mainly come from yourself but
also from other sources of knowledge like people, books, and artworks, among others.
With this being said, research is a study that has been studied before from other authors
and such.

4. Provide a reflection paper of the reading material provided by the teacher. This time, there will
be no citations from any authors, books or schools.
