INSTRUCTION
This exam paper consists of six (6) questions. Answer three (3) questions only. The
answer must be written in ESSAY FORM.

1-Social values are characterized as guidelines, which people and social group utilize to
characterize individual objectives and basically shape the nature and frame of social
arrange in a collective i.e., what is good and what is not good, what should or should
not be. Analyse what are the Malay social values?

2-A person with integrity behaves ethically and does the right thing, even behind closed
doors. Discuss the importance of National Integrity Plan (NIP) to the Malaysian society.
[10 marks]

3-The elements of culture explains culture from the standpoint of what's common across
all cultures. Discuss in detail three (3) major elements of culture in Malaysia.

4-Human society has been profoundly shaped by the political geography of ethnic
relations. Analyse with examples, what are the five (5) main concepts in ethnic
relations? [10
marks]

5- The culture of Malaysian society is incredibly diverse. Discuss the significance of two
(2) important festivals in the cultures of Malay, Chinese, and Indian.

6- Analyse the significance of the 13th May 1969 in Malaysian ethnic relation history.
