Graphic Designer

Graphic design is also known as communication design. Graph-

ic designers are visual communicators, who create visual con-
cepts by hand or by using computer software. They communi-
cate ideas to inspire, inform, or captivate consumers through
both physical and virtual art forms that include images, words,
or graphics.

The end goal of graphic designers is to make the organizations

that hire them recognizable and prominent. By using a variety
of media they communicate a particular idea or identity to be
used in advertising and promotions. These media include
fonts, shapes, colors, images, print design, photography, ani-
mation, logos, and billboards. Graphic designers often collabo-
rate on projects with artists, multimedia animators, and other
creative professionals.

A graphic design project may involve the stylization and presentation of existing text and either preexisting imagery or images
developed by the graphic designer. Elements can be incorporated in both traditional and digital form, which involves the use of
visual arts, typography, and page layout techniques. Graphic designers organize pages and optionally add graphic elements.
Graphic designers can commission photographers or illustrators to create original pieces. Designers use digital tools, often re-
ferred to as interactive design, or multimedia design. Designers need communication skills to convince an audience and sell their
designs.

 It was one of the highest paid job in the world.

 I like editing and making digital art and marketing.

 I want to be an animator someday.

 I want to be employed as a graphic director someday.

 It was one of my dream jobs.

There are things in this world that we have dream of to become. Some may want things accord-
ing to their passion, some have exerted their guts to take risk and succeed, and some make decisions
according to what they think the best for them and for their future. To choose the right decision is real-
ly a hard thing, it confuses us on every aspect we want in life and what path we should take for our
future.

The things I want in my future was to become financially stable, have my own family and travel
around the world. The things that inspire me to dream this of was the pictures I’ve seen on magazines,
billboards, blogs, vlogs, etc., so I taught of wanting to become a publisher/author someday. Then, be-
cause of my passion of venturing through my computers and gadgets, I fell in love with digital art and
editing. This inspires me to become a graphic designer. To become a graphic designer, you must be-
come creative and artistic in designing, and be responsible on the purpose of your design. I really want
to become a graphic designer.

But since graphic design was not offered here in Tuguegarao City, I choose to enroll in architec-
ture department because like graphic designing, architecture was also at the field of design and art, so I
thought, ‘why not try architecture?’
