Globalization is the process or trend of increasing integration and
interaction among governments, businesses, states, people, and
countries as a result of the spread of ideas, culture, and technology.
International money flow International investments and trade drive
the process, which is aided by information technology.
Globalization is everywhere and impossible to avoid;
it promotes unity and harmony among various state
and non-state actors; and it raises individual
awareness of the global community.
Globalization features number of wide-ranging perspectives that
present the phenomenon in several contexts and dimensions. One
of the perspectives argues that the concept should be pursued
along the lines of economic globalization while another
perspective thinks that it should include the political, social,
religious, and cultural dimensions of globalization.
Man began to move and interact with others
because he desired to understand the perspectives
of others for a variety of reasons, including the
desire to gain knowledge and power.
Globalization promotes the expansion and
interconnection of various sectors across nations. Its
key characteristics include cross-border connectivity
or integration, a free trade environment, and national
interdependence.
When a company goes global, it faces numerous challenges such
as language barriers and opposition and competition from local
sellers. Furthermore, global business expansion necessitates
massive capital investment as well as risks such as legal
compliance or political unrest. On the other hand, it is a trap for local
businesses that lose customers to foreign goods and services.
