Topic:
You intend to go international business. You need to choose only ONE particular market (or
country) to entry because of limited resources. Analyze Political economy environment,
Economic development of your country in order to explain your choice.
* No restrictions regarding literature and other aids. However, assignment should include proper
references to background literature and information sources.
Recommendations:
- Identify and analyze political economy environment of this country (Political, economic and
legal system).
- Use Freedom in the World published by Freedom House to evaluate the level of political
freedom and economic freedom
- Analyze the impact of political economy environment on the benefits, costs and risks of doing
business
- Use the World Bank’s “Doing Business Indicators” to measure the extent of business
regulations in this country in terms of how easily contracts are enforced, how property can be
registered and how investors can be protected.
