Canadian content to one of the greatest media minds of all time, Marshall McLuhan. The
Canadian famously proclaimed that "the medium is the message", but what exactly does that
mean? We'll explore the idea and apply it to today's reality. This week's assignment should be

We'll explore the centuries-long evolution in depth this week including how the communication
cycle changed — and is continuing to change — with the advent of social media.
