I. Rationale

To protect the health and safety of teachers and students. the school must provide a learning-

friendly environment in the classroom so that students' academic performance is not adversely

affected.

A roof is the uppermost part of a building that serves as a structural covering to protect it from

elements such as rain, sun, and wind. Because the condition of the school has a direct impact on

the performance of the students, a roof extension is necessary to provide protection from the

elements for the teachers, students, and parents. The main goal of the projects is to build a new

roof over an existing concrete classroom from Kinder to Grade 2. It is true that having a well-

maintained classroom is critical for students to achieve the expected academic results.

With this issue, Inaban Elementary School, particularly in the Kinder to Grade 2 classrooms,

proposed a separate roof extension in order to protect the classrooms from rain, sun, and wind and

provide a good place for instruction from Kinder to Grade 2 classrooms in preparation for the New

Normal Education for SY 2022-2023.

II.Objectives of the Project
a. General

Provide build a new roof over an existing concrete classroom from Kinder to Grade 2
that can be used by the pupils outside their classroom.

b. Specific

The author of this planning process is required to launch a development project to

achieve the following goals:
1. to create better and more comfortable educational facilities, including classrooms with
roof extensions from Kindergarten to Grade 2
2. to enhance the quality of education and
3.to increase achievement level of the learners from Kinder to Grade 2
