Problem:

Constant or Intermittent 12-152/12-151 fault codes that are difficult to diagnose, even after multiple
parts have been replaced (i.e. motors, Eject and Compiler Assemblies)

Cause:

Timing variations due to drag in any one, or combination of the Finisher Transport, Compile Exit or
Decurler Drive assemblies. Existing plastic Idler Pulley 20E25141 is slow to turn or may not turn at
all creating drag on these drive systems, resulting in faults.

Solution:

Replace existing plastic pulley 20E25141 with replacement 655N00617, 12-152 - Low Drag Pulley
Kit. Kit contains components to replace one plastic pulley, so multiple kits may need to be utilized
depending on finisher configuration. Two pulley configurations exist in the finisher, floating & E-ring
retained. Use the lock-collar for the “floating”(no e-ring) configuration and omit the lock-collar where
an E-ring is currently used.
