Title: IBT Belt Anti Curl Kit Kit part # 655N00282

Purpose
This kit is used to minimize IBT belt curl on the
inboard side and clean the patch on the belt. This
will reduce 42-326, 42-327 and 42-328 fault codes.

Procedure:
__ 1. Switch off the power and disconnect the
power cord.

__ 2. Slide the IBT assembly into the service


position.

__ 3. Identify the parts using Figure 1.

Note: This kit utilizes existing screws in the IBT


assembly to mount the lower ski.

__ 4. Access the rear of the IBT assembly. Locate
mounting hole
the 3 mounting points for the skis. Figure 2.

__ 5. a. Install the upper ski by placing it on top of


the belt and inside the IBT frame. The 3MM
mounting screw goes through the existing
IBT frame hole (located to the right of the
edge sensor) into the threaded hole in the
ski. b. Loosen
the screw to mount the lower ski. Slide the
ski in place on top of the belt and “finger
tight” the frame screw.
c. Ensure the skis are on top of the belt.
On a new IBT or flat used belt adjust the Lower
skis so they just touch to slightly above the
belt. If skis are installed on a used IBT belt
which has a slight curl, adjust the skis to hold Figure 2 View from Rear of IBT Assembly
belt curl down. Tighten both ski mounting
screws. Fig 3

__ 6. Slide IBT assembly into operating position.

__ 7. Check machine for proper operation.
