CASE STUDY 11: Kookaboora Container Corporation:


Maybe Tomorrow
1. The manager approach to Engineer Aisporna to be a leader so that Maintaining
good management of an organization would efficiently have effective profitability
that leaders of companies must work hard to engage employees.

2. Engineer Aisporna is a good and excellent leader but he overtook the failure of
company productivity and products recall due to its unorganizational company
structure, centralized
power structure, lack of formalization, hierarchical levels therein and
departmentalization of employees attitude and behavior.
The Corporation employed improper organizational structures which has
brings the company into harder situation. Organizational structure refers to
how individual and team work within an organization are coordinated.

3. To achieve organizational goals and objectives, individual work needs to be


coordinated and managed. They faced auto vehicular malfunction and defects
which arises from the Toyota production system. The centralization of ideas
focus on its leaders, the employees has no authority to interrupt its decisions.
As such, it happens that leaders escape its responsibility in the middle of
crisis.

4. The Kookaboora Container Corporation is in need of its people and extra time to
produce the job orders that were place by their customers. With this, some of the
workers are not willing or hesitant to accept the job lay by Engr. Aisporna, because
free meal during overtime period is not enough as-compensation of the workers. If
they are presented with certain amount of compensation every time they work on an
overtime basis then this can be a good motivation for them to perform more to
achieve company’s goal. Top management gave Engr. Aisporna their trust on the
Production Department, thus,he should use this as an advantage for him to be the
voice of the workers to present company the fair compensation that the workers
should have. On the other hand, this is solution is an additional cost on the salaries
and wages of the company, especially that on the past months they did not laid off
some of their workers. Moreover, the solution is just for immediate action to be use
by the company .The lack of formalization of organization's policies and Job
description unable Toyota employees to take affect the slack of company resources.
Due to rapid growth and expansion, the company was unable to properly handle the
size of the corporation. The company employed several level of management and top
level managers, wherein they were unable to fight the crisis at the end.
