Installation of VirtualBox
Step 1: From the search engine, search “VirtualBox” then click the first link to be downloaded
or else open this link https://www.virtualbox.org/

Step 2: Click the Download VirtualBox 6.1.

Step 3: Click Windows hosts to download.

Step 4: After the download file is finish, go to the File Manager find Downloads and Click to
open the VirtualBox Installer.

Step 5 : Open the VirtualBox and Click Next.

Step 6: Continue clicking the Next.

Step 7: Check all the option below and continue clicking the Next.

Installaton of Windows Server 2016

Step 1 : Click the New icon at the top.

Step 2: In the VirtualBox Machine. Put a name “layaocharlenejoy” and change the operating
system type: Microsoft Windows, version: Windows 2016 (64 bit) then click “Next”

Step 3: From Memory size determine the capability of the PC and Recommended 2gb-4gb, then
Click “Next”.

Step 4: In the Hard disk Choose a Create Virtual hard disk now, then Click Create.

Step 5: Select VMDK (Virtual Machine Disk) and Click “Next”.

Step 6: On Storage in Physical Hard Disk, Choose the default value Dynamically allocated and
Click “Next”.

Step 7: Define how much storage you want to provision in the window server. I choose 50.00GB
then Click “Create”

Step 8: Right Click on the VM and click on Setting. Click “Storage”.

Step 9: Under the storage device, choose Empty Disk.

Step 10: In the attributes, click on the Disk icon to choose a disk file and attached the ISO that
we have downloaded and click on “Ok”.

Step 11: Double Click the created VM or click Start to installation.

Step 12: after the few seconds, you should see the windows installation screen. Choose the
language, then click “Next”

Step 13: Click “Install Now” button to start the installation process.

Step 14: Select the appropriate version of the windows server. Click “Next”.

Step 15: Put the check mark in the box to the I accept the license terms and click on the
“Next”.

Step 16: Select the Custom: Install Windows only (advanced) option for clean installation.

Step 17: Click “Next”

Step 18: Wait until copying all the files from the external drive to hard drive. Be patient.

Step 19: The Window Server 2016 is now restarting and loading.

Step 20: Typing the complex password composed uppercase, lowercase, number and
symbols then enter the keyboard. Click Finish after setting up the username and password

Step 21: Go to the “Input”. Then after that select “Keyboard” and select the Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

Step 22: Type the password you made and click the arrow to proceed.
