ABSTRACT

 The purpose of this research study is to identify the psychological effects of bullying
towards the Grade-10 students of St. Mary’s Academy of Tagoloan. To achieve this,
descriptive survey research was used. The study focused on the Grade-10 students of
St. Mary’s Academy Of Tagoloan, hence the overall population of Grade-10 students
consist of 174 students, only 42 students specifically 7 students in each sections was
chosen to participate on this study. A four point Likert Type Rating Scale Questionnaire
type, made via Google forms and disseminated via messenger, titled: The
Psychological Effects of Bullying in the students of St. Mary’s Academy of Tagoloan:
aims to determine and identify the cause and effects of bullying in the psychological
aspect of the students. The researchers statistically analyzed the data gathered with the
requirements of the study. At the peak of the study, the researchers determined that the
students were being bullied because of their physical appearance, financial situation,
does receive physical harm and explicit words from to whom they are being bullied. The
students also felt different levels of distress, insecurities, anxiety, trauma, and
depression. It also leads into serious trust issues, lack of securability and credibility,
affects mental capabilities, and higher risk of suicidal actions. It affects on the students’
performance and it affects on the different aspects of one's students life.

heartfelt appreciation for actively addressing our needs and providing us the chance to
