PURPOSE:
To ensure guests expectations are met or exceeded, by providing effective and efficient service.
And Responsible for mixing and dispensing all stimulating, nursing and non-alcoholic drinks to
the set standards
2 To have complete working knowledge of the Beverage List and to be able to answer guest
queries promptly, knowledgeably and in a discreet manner.
3 To mix and prepare all stimulating, nursing and Non-Alcoholic Drinks to the set
standards.
5 To ensure that all guests at the Counter are served in an efficient and correct manner
taking every opportunity to up-sell discreetly.
6 To recommend and ‘sell’ to guests through menu knowledge, suggestive and up-selling
techniques.
7 To ensure that the Bar, dispensing area, fridges and counters are clean and presentable at
all times. . Ensuring a clean and tidy work area, and to follow the routine bar cleaning
schedule.

8 To assist the Manager in supervising and co-ordinating the activities of all Bar staff
9 To check and control stock of Beverages levels and initiate necessary requisitions to the
set standards.
10 To assist in Inventory and Inspection by the Cost Controller to the set standards.
12 To handle any guest complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all
resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to your Supervisor.
13 To have a good knowledge of all company facilities and be able to answer guest questions
in a quick, polite and helpful manner.
14 Demonstrate Awareness of H&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are
conducted.
15 To carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by your Supervisor or Management.
