DIGITAL HUB
Internet Hub: là điểm đến để kết cuối hoặc trung chuyển dữ
liệu/internet của các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ viễn thông-internet,
nội dung, công nghệ thông tin…trên toàn thế giới, quy mô cung
cấp dịch vụ trên địa bàn rộng nhiều quốc gia lân cận/vùng/khu
vực (Theo Telegeography)
Hiện có 02 Internet Hub chính trong khu vực Châu Á – Thái Bình
Dương là:
thông thời kỳ 2021- 2030, tầm nhìn đến năm 2050
đang được Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông xây dựng.
Đến năm 2030, dự thảo quy hoạch đề cập tới việc
thu hút các tập đoàn công nghệ đa quốc gia xây
dựng thêm các trung tâm dữ liệu quốc tế tại Việt
Nam. Đặc biệt, yêu cầu đến năm 2030, Việt Nam
trở thành Digital Hub khu vực.

Liên quan đến định hướng phát triển Digital Hub,

dự thảo nêu rõ sẽ hình thành và phát triển hệ sinh
thái công nghệ, đưa Việt Nam trở thành trung tâm
kết nối khu vực “Digital Hub”- nơi trung chuyển, kết
nối, lưu trữ và xử lý dữ liệu của khu vực và thế giới.
Đến năm 2025 sẽ hình thành tối thiểu một trung
Singapore Hong Kong tâm dữ liệu phục vụ mục tiêu Hub cho khu vực và
quốc tế. Đến năm 2030 sẽ hoàn thiện và phát triển
hệ sinh thái công nghệ của Digital Hub.
