Directions: Justify your answer through writing an Essay.

1. Globalization made a great impact in our society. These lead to the development of
different countries around the world. But with all these economic growth and rise
of rich countries come the disadvantages for less developed countries. As rich
countries invest in less developed countries and their products are being exported
to these poor countries, their economy is growing and also their political influence
is expanding. They are growing their economies in expense of these poor countries.
They are exploiting the natural resources of these third-world countries by hiding
in their investments that they are claiming to benefit the economy of the poor
country. Because of free trade, they are allowed to export their products freely
sacrificing the local production of these said products. Instead of focusing on the
local production, these less developed countries prefer to import products than to
use the locally produced counterpart.

2. We can upgrade our economy if our government will support the local industry and
develop laws and programs that will protect the locals. The government shall also
support the production of local products that can be possibly exported globally.
Our country also needs to improve the internet connectivities that are existing now
so we can keep up with the development of rich countries and the technologies that
are emerging. As a third world country, we should focus on different sectors that
boosts our economy’s growth. Programs that are already existing shall be reviewed
and also improved.
