RE: CONFIRMATION

Dear Commissioner Cordoba:

This is to confirm the service by respondent DANILO M. PANGANIBAN of his

penalty for the Administrative Case docketed as ADM. CASE NO. 2014-001.

In the decision dated April 13, 2021, respondent is meted out with a penalty of
SUSPENSION without salary. The dispositive portion of the said decision, states:

“WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, and in accordance

with the Uniform Rules on Administrative Case in the Civil Service, the
respondents are found GUILTY of SIMPLE NEGLECT OF DUTY and
imposing upon them the minimum penalty of SUSPENSION OF ONE (1)
MONTH and ONE DAY only, without salary except Respondents
Mercedita H. Saquin and Ferdinand F. Mortera who shall pay a fine in
lieu of suspension. Respondents Mercedita H. Saquin and Ferdinand F.
Mortera are directed to pay a fine equivalent to their one (1) month
salary.”

Our limited number of personnel in the Regional Office constrained us to

implement the Suspension Order in tranches in order not to hamper our operations. As
such, we let respondent serve his suspension in two (2) tranches, on the following dates:

a. January 21-31, 2022;

b. February 18, 2022 until March 10, 2022;

It is, therefore, our submission that respondent be cleared from the aforementioned
Administrative Case in view of his compliance to the suspension order.
