an active learner and takes risks which
results in more learning. She responds
well to redirects and applies her new
learning immediately which results in a
positive impact on students. She is
prepared for lessons and ask questions for
clarity. She has been encouraged to focus
on teaching the content, not do the

her delivery of the content.

Provide Examples/Evidence of Above
(Domain 2):
Rachele is very aware of the necessity of
strong classroom management. She has
expressed frustration with getting the
students respect while in this role as a
student teacher. I remind her to give
consequences according to our plan
without fear and also to give students
verbal recognition or using STAR tickets
for expected behavior. She notices what
students may need a redirect. She is
very intuitive about student personalities
and easily assesses reasonable
consequences according to the offense.

I also realize that in the beginning of

taking over that we are consumed with
content planning and delivery and
behavior management can slip, but
Rachel is capable of managing her
class.

Provide Examples/Evidence of Above Rachele is learning to really use the
(Domain 3):   curriculum resources to plan her lessons.
These provide all the components she
needs for a successful lesson and her
delivery is becoming more seamless. She
easily makes adjustments that are
necessary in order to fit the needs of our
students. While teaching she is relatable,
affirming and extends the conversation
with students to maintain engagement
without losing focus of the lesson
objective. She is learning various teaching
strategies while delivering content.
