Provide Examples/Evidence of Above (Domain 1):   Rachele is developing a deeper understanding of
her grade level content standards. With her limited
time in her new classroom, she is working diligently
to understand the standards and to learn about the
diverse needs of her students. Rachele is teaching
in a classroom with some challenging behaviors so
she is learning how to modify her instruction to
meet the needs of all of her students.

that establishes a culture for learning (please see

2c. Manages student behavior (please see Developing

Provide Examples/Evidence of Above (Domain 2):   As previously mentioned, Rachele is teaching in a
classroom that has some challenging behaviors.
She is working to create a culture of respect in her
classroom while maintaining high expectations for
her students. Rachele is assisting in creating
behavior plans with her mentor teacher and
working to follow through with their classroom
procedures. Rachele is approachable and is
working to create positive relationships with her
students.

3d. Uses assessment in instruction (please see Developing
description below) *
3e. Demonstrates flexibility & responsiveness (please Proficient
see description below) *
Provide Examples/Evidence of Above (Domain 3):   Rachele is working on pacing her instruction to
meet the diverse needs of her students. There is a
delicate balance of allowing time for struggling
learners to keep up and pushing her more
advanced learners. As Rachele becomes more
familiar with the content and her students she will
continue to improve in this area.

Rachele is flexible and responsive to the needs of

her students. She planned a science lesson and
modified her instruction based on student behavior.
Next steps would be to create ways to increase
student engagement while holding students
accountable for their behavior.
4a. Shows Professional Responsibilities (please see Developing
descriptions below) *
Provide Examples/Evidence of Above (Domain 4):   Rachele is in the process of learning more about
her new school and becoming more involved in the
daily responsibilities.
Additional Comments:   Rachele has had a unique start to her semester,
beginning in a kindergarten classroom and moving
to a 5th grade classroom at a different school. She
has worked to create relationships with her
students while learning the routines and
procedures in a new classroom. I am looking
forward to seeing her continue to grow in this new
position.
