• Eddy Current Settings

➢ Probe settings

1. Set probe to 100KHz (based on probe frequency)

2. Set type of probe to be Absolute-12
3. Set the Load to be Auto
4. Set Gain Lock to be Fixed
5. Set Gain increment to be 1
6. Set Drive and Input gain to be 0db

➢ Filters Settings

1. Set High pass to be DC

2. Set low pass to be 300
3. Filter lock is off
4. Increment is 10

• Advanced Settings

➢ Auto phase

1. Set the angle to be 00

2. Set the radius to be 50%

Scanning Settings

1. Press and hold one blank button between plus and freeze button and set it to screenshot.
2. Press and hold one blank button between plus and menu button to Balance Load.

Scanning steps

1. Place the probe on top of specimen.

2. Balancing the probe.
3. Press blank button with Balance Load.
4. Balancing the probe.
5. Press and hold pluss button until screen shows Perform Auto Phase.
6. Balancing the probe.
7. Lift off the probe until signal escaping the circle.
8. Balancing the probe.
9. Start scanning the specimen area(HAZ/Weldment).
