HACLO 1-A-2 KAYEZEL AGUILON

CHILD PROTECTION

1. What should Harry do?

 Harry should explain to the neighborhood kids that they shouldn't approach the hotel
guest since they don't know him personally and he is a stranger to them, and that they
also shouldn't enter the hotel because doing so is against hotel policy.

 Harry needs to explain to the kids that they shouldn't tell Harry about this since they
could find it offensive.

 He should explain to the local kids that being friendly to others is okay, but that they
should exercise caution because they are swimming in the pool, wearing attractive
swimwear, and inviting him into his room, which is not normal.

2. What could the Management and Human Resources departments of the Sawadee Welcome
Hotel have done firstly, to stop this behaviour before it happened and secondly, to aid Harry in
taking action?

The management and human resources department of the Sawadee Welcome Hotel
should first explain to the guests about their hotel guests policy in order to safeguard
both the hotel and the guests from unpleasant accidents and surprises that may occur
and to help create a smooth experience for both the company and the client.

3. Provide examples of policies, procedures and training and induction programs that the Sawadee
Welcome Hotel could have adopted to avoid this situation?

Only hotel guests who show their ID card, passport, or temporary residence card are
permitted entry into their rooms.

Other visitors are required to show personal identification for hotel records; their
identification will be returned when the guest has checked out.
One of the reasons these documents are gathered is to ensure the security of the
visitors' possessions and the comfort of the visitors by protecting their valuables.

He must be made aware from the management that the hotel is not accountable in any
manner for any loss or damage to the guest's goods or any other property from the hotel
room, the locker, or any other area of the hotel for any reason, including theft or
pilferage.
