Newest Detector Technology

The fourth generation microbolometer detector used in the M4 Infrared Camera makes it the
most consistent infrared system of its size available today. The uncooled detector operates in the
longwave portion of the infrared spectrum. The M4 INFRARED CAMERA can be used indoors
and outdoors, under all lighting conditions.
In addition, the real-time system scans at the standard video rate of 60 Hz, which allows the
operator to scan moving objects or scan while moving. Even at this high frame rate, the M4
INFRARED CAMERA still has excellent sensitivity.

The M4 Infrared Camera is rugged, ergonomic and extremely lightweight. At just 0.265Kg
(including battery), it is the lightest infrared measurement camera in the world. Dust and splash
proof, the M4 INFRARED CAMERA meets IP 54 standards and withstands harsh industrial

Visual Camera and Voice Annotation

The M4 Infrared Camera stores thermal and visual images in a Built-in Flash memory (8G bit
capacity) in an IRI (An individual file consists of infrared image, visual image and voice
annotation if any). This camera can record voice “Variant for different files, up to 300 seconds
per file.”

Laser Locator
The M4 Infrared Camera has a built-in Laser Locator. This action assists in correlating the hot
spot on the IR image with the approximate location of the problem. The laser device is a Class 2
semiconductor laser.

Measurement Modes
Spot / manual (up to 4 moveable), spot / automatic placement at max, area (up to 4
moveable) displaying either max, min, or average, isotherm, line profile, auto alarm.

System Status Indicator

The M4 Infrared Camera possesses a LCD Display which shows status of battery, indication
of power as well as a Sound Alarm that automatically alarm for power shortage.

M4 IR Analyser TM Software
The M4 Infrared Camera downloads thermal and visual images with voice annotation to your PC
or LAPTOP quickly with the included IR Analyser TM software using a standard USB or serial
cable. Using this “plug & play” feature, allows you to document your findings in all your
favorite Windows programs.

Flexible Image Storage with Post Processing capability

The M4 Infrared Camera stores thermal and visual images with voice annotation that can be
downloaded to your PC or LAPTOP for post analysis and report generation. They can also be
inserted directly into standard Windows programs like Microsoft Word to quickly and easily
generate comprehensive infrared reports.

Operation in the Field --Power System

For reliable operation in the field, the M4 Infrared Camera uses long-life Li-Ion batteries,
rechargeable, field replaceable that provide over 2 hours of continuous use. The M4
INFRARED CAMERA has an internal battery charger --in camera via USB interface from AC
adapter (96- 250 VAC)--as well as a car charger adapter.
