    1. (a) Derive the Hamilton’s equations from the Hamiltonian of a system.

    (b) Obtain Hamilton’s equations for a sample pendulum. Hence,obtain an expression for its
    Period.
    2. (a) Define the point transformation and canonical transformation.

    (b) Show that the following transformation is canonical.

    6. (a) What is Four -space and Four velocity ?

    (b) How fast must an unstable particle move to travel 20 cm before it decays ?
