Design question:
How do we make a model to show people what something will look like, when it is built?
For this project we are going to think about making a place to live that makes people
happy and healthy. For the first part of the project forget about making a model. Instead
think of the following:

For this part, think very hard about the kind of buildings / spaces / places that make
children happy. You can walk around your neighbourhood, your own house and take
photos. You can even search through photos on your phone for places you think would
be a good place to live and to be happy and healthy.

Put those photos here, and for each one write down what it is, and why you think this
kind of place would make children happy and healthy.

I want to make it a safe place in an unreachable place in reality

When you start to get inspiration about your idea for a building / space / place, write
about it here. You can add photo(s) to help me understand what kind of building / place
/ space you are thinking of designing. Finish off by explaining why you think this is the
building / place / space you want to design for happy and healthy children.

1. It is a peaceful place, where you have the ability to do anything you’d like.

3. It is a VR experience, but very real. You can touch, feel, and smell anything.
A-iv presents the main findings of relevant research

For the last part of this worksheet, write down a list of ideas about your design. What
kind of building / place / space is it? Think about all the research you’ve done. You can
write a list of important things that you found in your research. Think of this like a wish
list of things your design should have. ALWAYS think about what we are designing, and
who we are designing for. You can design for any age group but we would encourage
you to think of younger children, maybe 9 to 10 years old. Describe in detail what the
user struggles with and how this place can help them to solve his/her problem.

The place should be a safe place, in a VR reality where things would be ultra realistic,
you could smell, feel, taste, and hear anything in this world. It it should be very peaceful,
it also has many other people that can join the VR as you can, and you would be very
appreciated in that space.
