Kindly refer to aforesaid letter reference at Sl. No. (ii) on above subject matter.
The above proposal has been examined, however following points need
elucidation: -

1. lncrease in cost of Re-Revised Estimate (RE-ll) may be elaborated in the

following category:-
(i) lncrease in cost due to change in scope of work.
(ii) lncrease in cost due to change in specification.
(iii) lncrease in cost due to escalation / time overrun.
(iv)lncrease in cost due to faulty assessment in RE-l.
(v) Any other factor contributing to increase in cost.

2. ln this restricted estimate based on actual expenditure, the provision of

contingencies has been deleted. The contingencies should have been added
based on the actual / likely expenditure. The same may be reviewed.

3. lt may be confirmed that all factors including effect of change in GST rate
have been considered and there will not be any further increase in the
proposed cost of RRPE (RE-ll).

The above observations may kindly be attended on priority so that the proposal
may be placed before the forthcoming TC meeting.
This issues with the approval of ADG(Border).
