Tomorrow's Leadership
Dear Sir/Madam,
Nestled in the heart of Lahore, Government College University is
renowned for its high standards of education and co-curricular activities,
which ensure that the old meets the new, in the road towards progress.
This year, GC University carries forward the new tradition of the All
Pakistan Students’ Societies Summit, offering a week filled with
informative panel talks, thought-provoking activities and exuberant
festivities.
On behalf of Government College University and the Department of
English Language and Literature, Safdar Mir English Literary Circle
invites your institution to participate in the activities arranged on
December 6th and 7th, 2022 including an essay writing competition and
interpretive reading.
Safdar Mir English Literary Circle is a university-level society that
provides students with a forum to express their appreciation and
creativity in relation to literature. Named after Mohammad Safdar Mir, a
famous writer, poet, and former teacher at Government College
University, the society organizes seminars, lectures, and workshops on
diverse social, cultural, literary, and political topics. We, as a literary
circle, intend to initiate, spark, and facilitate students to the best of our
ability.
The schedule, for the activities planned during this event, is given in the
Appendix ‘A’, while the rules governing the contest, and the link to the
registration form and contact details, are attached as Appendices ‘B’ and
‘C’ respectively.
Looking forward to greeting your team at the Summit,
Regards,
