Course Policies
It is compulsory for students to attend at least 85% of the whole time allocated to the course. More than four (4) unjustified absences from
Attendance
the lecture OR more than two (2) unjustified absences from the lab will make you ineligible to attend the final exam
Assignments Students are expected to solve their assignments and submit them on due time.
Late Submissions Late submission may be subjected to a decrease in the grade that is proportional to the delayed days.
Exams are closed books. Students who did not attend the first/second exam due to exceptional situations (for e.g., medical emergency) will
Exams
be given a makeup exam
Plagiarism Student caught cheating will be awarded a 0 in the exam and may be subject to university disciplinary actions.
Disability Students with disability need to approach the course instructor so that commodities will be put in place to assist them.
*The B.Sc. in Physics program enables students to achieve, by the time of graduation the following Program Learning Outcomes Target Weight
(PLOs): 100%
An ability to identify, formulate, and solve broadly defined
technical or scientific problems by applying knowledge of
(1) 33.3%
mathematics and science and/or technical topics to areas relevant to
physics.
An ability to formulate or design a system, process, procedure or
(2) 33.3%
program to meet desired needs.
