Instructions:
 The assignment is a personal work and not a group work.
 You are expected to create one Excel Workbook. Save your document
(.xlsx) in a folder holding your full name and ID (Example:
Abed_Safadi_11119212).
 Once you are done, print your workbook as PDF and also add it to your
folder.
 When you finish the assignment, create a zip file of your folder and upload
it on Google Classroom before the due date.

Don’t forget! MU policy is clear. Once the instructor finds out that any
assignment/project is not your final output, you will receive a grade ZERO.

Please read this document in full before you start working on this assignment

In this assignment, you are expected to create a well-formatted grading sheet

for our FOE 201 course using Microsoft Excel. Start by creating a blank
workbook and save it as:

Firstname_Lastname_Grading_Sheet.xlsx
Once you are done, you have to print your workbook as a PDF file. Therefore,
you are expected to submit a pdf file along with the Excel file in the zipped file:

Firstname_Lastname_Grading_Sheet.pdf
The grades of the FOE 201 course are distributed as follows:
Quizzes 15%
Midterm Exam 20%
Assignments 55%
Attendance and Participation 10%

In this assignment, we will assume that quizzes and assignments have only one
grade. In Assignment 5, you will need to edit the same sheet you submit in this
assignment to have more than one sheet (one sheet for quizzes including 3-4
quizzes grades, one sheet for assignments including 5-6 assignment grades,
and a summary sheet.
The sheet you will develop in this assignment will contain students’ IDs,
students’ names, their grades for each of the above categories, their average
grade, pass/fail or letter grade, and some analysis information.
In the next two pages, you find sample sheets that include all the points that
need to be included in your sheet. The screenshots are just a sample solution;
you can arrange and format your document in whatever way you want. It is
only used to explain the requirements of the assignment.

Grading Criteria:
Excel Grading Sheet (50 Points)
Insert a formatted title and subtitle (course name) for the sheet.

Example: rows 1 and 2 in the sample.
Insert formatted headings for students’ IDs, students’ names,
grading categories, grading percentages, and any other
information. 5
Example: rows 3 and 4, and columns A and B in the sample.
Enter at least 10 student data (ID, name, and grades). The data can
be random, not necessarily the same as the ones in the samples. 5
Example: rows 5 to 14
Use Numbers format with two decimal places for grades, and
Percentage format for grading categories percentages. 5
Example: columns C to G in the sample
Insert formatted statistical information (average, minimum,
maximum, and standard deviation) for every grade category
including the average grade. 8
Example: rows 15 to 18 in the sample.
Calculate the average grade for every student using the
percentages included in the header.
Use absolute cell reference to fill the formula in all the involved 8
cells.
Example: column G in the sample.
Overall formatting of the sheet (consistency, columns and rows
width, colors selection, choice of formatting, etc.). 8

Print the workbook as a PDF, use landscape page, center the table
horizontally, and add your name as the footer of the document. 6
