Advertising the game:

My game will be aimed at teenage audiences and will be advertised on TV adverts to get people
intrigued. Coming up as ads on YouTube or featured on PS4 store, or adverts on tv also help engage
all the audiences of that age group.

1.) Teenagers are always glued to devices meaning if the game is advertised on tv for games
consoles or featured to coming soon in the PS4/Nintendo switch store, they can easily find
out about the game with advertisements on social media and streaming apps as well like:
Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch.

2.) Money, making sure the game makes money is proof that the game is popular, continues
your releasing DLCs that people can buy makes sure that the game can continue to make
money, however making it to much pay to win will antagonise audiences and they’ll stop
playing.

3.) With experience in researching audience demographic gives me great knowledge on how to
advertise to a certain age group and what will appeal to them and how to keep the game
alive.

These are obviously items in the game that

️ ealth And Safety Warnings⚠️:

Prolonged gameplay can cause eye strain, dizziness headaches and even motion sickness for
extensive viewing of a bright screen and moving targets. Migraines can also be caused due to this,
along with carpel tunnel syndrome which is when pressure on a certain nerve in your wrist can cause
pain, strain and numbness in your hand.

Set A Limit:

Setting a limit to the amount of time a child can play games is a great way to not suffer from the
symptoms of prolonged gameplay. The American Academy of Paediatrics says that “limiting video
games to one hour per day. And while it can be tempting to dramatically cut back your child's access
to games, or want to remove them from your home altogether, it might be more helpful to start off
slowly” this, as shown, suggests that only 1 hour per day is enough for a child. An article shows that
1-9 hours a week is enough: 1 hour on weekdays and 2 on weekends. The article is here:
https://www.webmd.com/parenting/news/20160927/video-gaming-kids#1.

Some statistics and studies:

- 66% of children aged 8-12 play for approximately 2 hours per day.
- 56% of teenagers aged 13-17 play for approximately 2.5 hours per day.
- 80% of both children and teenagers owns game console.
- Studies have shown experimental evidence that children playing violent video games have
shown more violent behaviour.
- Other studies have investigated that some creative video games have shown improvement
in attention and visuospatial skills and making them more efficient.
- Though studies have shown that there can be an improvement in social relationships there
has also been shown that there are many more negative psychological symptoms such as:
 Low self esteem.
 Solitude preference.
 Poor school performance.
 Maladaptive coping strategies.
- 94% of parents are worried about the side effects of video games and that an average child
plays 15 hours a week. 70% of parents are worried about violent and sexual images.
