Thousands of people visited Maya Bay riding boats before it was closed to allow for ecological recovery.
One of the most popular modes of transportation was speedboats. Usually, this was followed by a long
ride on a tail boat. There were several tours traveling from the Koh Phi Islands.

Maya Bay is an excellent spot for a variety of marine sports like snorkeling, diving, and kayaking. Even if
their journey begins elsewhere, many people kayak near Ko Phi Phi Leh and Maya Bay. Maya Bay doesn't
even have a kayak rental establishment, but there is plenty of open water to explore.
