Notes and Reminders:


● Homework: Homework for the week (Reading Tic Tac Toe) is due by Thursday this week. The
purpose of the homework is to reinforce the concepts we are learning in school.
● The Winter Concert is being held on Dec. 21 at 9:30 in the auditorium. The students of Room
206 will be singing a song. Families are welcome.
● We will have our classroom winter celebration in the afternoon on Thursday, Dec. 22nd. Please
refer to the previously sent email and spreadsheet for more details.
● The Ray School Spelling Bee will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25. We will have a class
spelling bee the week prior to determine our two participants. I will send a study guide home
over winter break for those who want to start to study.
● Spirit Week:
○ Monday, Dec. 19: Beautiful/Ugly Sweater Day
○ Tuesday, Dec. 20: TikTok Fun Day
○ Wednesday, Dec. 21: Ray Spirit Day
○ Thursday, Dec. 22: Holiday Pajamas, Winter Craft and Story Day
● There is no school for students on Friday, Dec. 23, which is the start of Winter Break. School
will resume on Jan. 9th
