    1. Make sure the blade guard is in place and works correctly

    2. Keep fingers at least 6" away from the blade

    3. The miter saw is use for CROSS-CUTTING only!

    4. Allow the blade to reach full speed before cutting!

    5. Clear scrap away from the cut line after each cut

    6. Hold your workpiece FIRMLY against the fence for each cut!

    7. Make sure the bed is locked and set correctly before each cut

    8. After the cut release the trigger and let the blade come to a complete stop before lifting the saw and
