Reflection

During this semester I have established my own ways of writing, in some ways I feel that

I matured and adapted. As time goes by I have come to the understanding that English has

always been hard for me because I get setbacks.Throughout my education I have learned many

methods in writing. However I still haven't figured out how to properly apply it into my work.

My biggest strength for writing is talking from experience or creating imagination. It sounds

improper but it truly gives me the time to say what I want. I never really saw any strengths for

my writing which is something I hope to see in my future. I personally enjoy having free riding

range because I feel like that’s when I mostly connect with my topic when it comes to properly

writing, I tend to struggle which seems to be hard for me to break my habits.

Personally, my biggest weakness is properly citing and using resources. My

biggest struggle is finishing the work. If I lose interest in the topic I tend to give

up, which is something I plan on working on. I tend to lose track when I’m

quoting whether I use improper citations, or simply formatting a citation page

wrong. I also have a hard time writing a thesis, and getting together conclusion to

me I feel like the thesis is a hard part to get to because I don’t really understand

the information I need to bring, I feel as though the information I have is not good

enough for a thesis, which makes it hard to start the paper. With these struggles, I

do hope to learn new ways to adapt.

To continue on in the future throughout college, I hope to learn greater skills in

my writing. I want to be able to capture the thrill and great knowledge for my

readers. Some personal goals I hope to achieve are getting the correct formats and

digging deeper into my research. I feel as though it will help me become a better

writer and truly understand what I am writing about. I want to grow as a writer so

it helps me in my future career. I believe I can work towards these challenges but

I know there is plenty of time to grow and it will take a lot of practice. I know for

me my biggest challenge will be motivation especially when i struggle having a

connection with a topic.

Finally, and most of all during this class I feel like it truly helped me understand

what I am capable of. It gave me challenges, but it also showed me that if I put in

the work I can definitely get it done. I was able to talk about topics I cared about

and showed how I can write so easily when I put in the work for motivation I was

challenged with one essay and I lost motivation and it open my eyes that I need to

prepare myself for more things like that so for me this class really showed me

obstacles for my future college careers. but I know that with the information I was

taught, I will be using this all my life and I hope to continue re-learning at chip

make it better each essay at a time I think this class is preparing me for the better

as a writer.
