The agile software development methodology known as rapid application development, or RAD, is
widely used in the software industry. The 1980s were when this model was initially developed. A
significant advantage of using this methodology is that projects can be completed more quickly, which
appeals to businesses and software developers who work in a fast-paced environment. The RAD model
is typically used to develop any software development project that can be broken down into
manageable modules and assigned to various developers from various teams.

The RAD model, at its most basic level, has four distinct phases.
