The student did very well with the Yopp-Singer test. She took her time and segmented each word
properly. I started marking the sounds as I went back over my video but as she got each correct, I
realized it wasn’t necessary for me to do that. Then I just circled each word that she correctly
segmented. I marked the word ice because I had to go back over it, but she did correctly segment
it. As stated before, segmenting phonemes was one of her IEP goals. This test here shows that
she has mastered that goal and is ready for a new challenge.
