- The idea of the global north and south, sometimes known as the north-south divide in a global

Population- The economies of the Global South are the exact opposite of those of the Global North,
which are democratic, technologically advanced, wealthy, and aging as their societies drift toward zero
population growth.

the global north, whereas those in the global south often have fewer resources and financial resources,
which makes their population more likely to live in poverty.

and tyranny, in contrast to the Global North, which is characterized by enormous wealth, democratic
governance, peace and stability, and a perpetual propensity for human growth.

Industrial Development- States that are typically considered to be a part of the Global North tend to be
wealthier and less unequal, with significant infrastructure investments, cutting-edge manufacturing,
advanced technology, and energy sectors. Southern states typically have younger institutions and are
developing nations.

stands for the former colonies that need assistance from international relief programs.
