E-SPORTS: The E-Sports program is designed to give students the experience of being in a competitive
video game tournament.

PHOTOGRAPHY: This class will teach students the photography skills necessary to take photos and
using editing software to create wonderful works of art.

LiTTLE BAKERS: Kids learn culinary concepts in an engaging, fun, and supportive learning environ-
ment that allows them to experience the joy of cooking and baking. At the end of every class, participants
complete recipes to enjoy at home!

COMPUTER CODiNG FOR YOUTH: Students will participate in learning coding skills for computer
programs.

ARTS & ANiMATiON: Youth will learn the fundamentals of cartoon and comic book animation.
Physical and electronic forms of animation will be explored, including making flip books and using
technology.

BEGiNNiNG BAND: Music Exploration: Youth learn the basics of playing wind, percussion and string
instruments. How to read music will be highlighted during each session.

BEDAZZLED JEWELRY MAKiNG CLASS: Participants in the jewelry making class will learn to craft
their own custom jewelry. Participants will be able to design and create custom pieces to take home.

BOYS ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL LEAGUE: Teams will be formed by Pontiac elementary schools.
3rd-5th grade boys. Participants must play for the school they attend. Two after school practices each week with
league games played on Friday evenings at UWM Sports Complex.

ELEMENTARY VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE: Youth are taught the fundamentals of volleyball; setting, bumping,
attacking, digging and serving through various drills that build on each other throughout the season. Our Youth
volleyball program offers age-appropriate skill development, opportunities to play volleyball games and even
opportunities to compete in a league format.

TUMBLiNG: Youth will tumble, balance, and stretch their way through class. A non-competitive environment
allows youth to move forward at their own pace. Body awareness, strength, and coordination are developed
during the 8 week session. Lessons are taught in a progressive manner in which children learn basic concepts and
improve on them from week to week. The teaching environment encourages the children to do their best while
having fun.

BiTTY BASKETBALL: This program is designed to teach 4-7 years the fundamental concepts of basketball in a
positive and fun environment. Your child will meet new friends while learning about teamwork,
focusing on sportsmanship, and building skills.

MARTiAL ARTS: Youth will build confidence while learning basic

martial arts and self-defense techniques. Class will focus on teamwork,
discipline, coordination and balance.

BOXiNG: Students will participate in learning the basic skills and

fundamentals of boxing. This class will help students develop the fitness and
conditioning required for boxing. Protective headgear will be worn to ensure the
safety of participants.

ADAPTiVE SPORTS AND FiTNESS: Adaptive sports and fitness are competitive and
recreational activities for individuals with and without disabilities. Participation in these activities
provides a way for individuals to be physically active and improve their health.

DANCE: This dance program is for young dancers wanting to explore and learn various dance styles from a
foundation of creative movement. Styles include Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet & Majorette.

YOUTH TENNiS: This program is designed to teach youth the fundamentals of tennis. They will be taught how
to use racquets, proper swing techniques and judge the flight and direction of the ball. Fun activities and games
will be played using low compression and foam balls.
