Introduction

1.1. GENERAL
AutoCAD is a commercial computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting
software application. Developed and marketed by Autodesk, AutoCAD was
first released in December 1982 as a desktop app running on
microcomputers with internal graphics controllers.

Stable release: 2021 / March 25,2020; 7 months ago

Developer(s): Autodesk
Founder: john walker in 1982

1.2. Objective;
The objective of this course is to teach users the basic commands and
tools necessary for professional 2D drawing, design and drafting using
AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT. After completing this course users will be
able to use AutoCAD for daily working process. Navigate throughout
AutoCAD using major navigating tools.

1.3. Scope
Scope of the autocad on the large scale of the engineering field in
mechanical as well as civil. AutoCAD is a worldwide valid software for 2D
as well as 3D drawing. In industrial area the main purpose is production of
component within less time and effective manner.

APPLICATIONS

AutoCAD is mainly used now a days it has huge empire.

• Automobile industries

• Power plant industries

• Piping industries

• Mass production industries

• Aerospace industries

• Now a day Auto Cad is almost used in all the industries and in every
fields like( civil, electrical and etc)
CONCLUSION

AutoCAD for Students is the most widely used computer-aided

software for producing architectural drawings. Not only in
computers but it is available as a mobile app which has a huge
demand and attracts many students and beginners.
The use of the import function in Auto CAD definitely has some
advantages. It can help to reduce the time it takes to produce the
drawings needed in the work environment.
The use of the import function may also be relied on heavily in order to
create efficiencies within the industry. This could possibly lead to a
decrease in the rate of innovation.
