Consultative selling has seven principals, which are as follows:
1. Researching about prospects thoroughly prior to engaging.

The consultative selling is a process that focuses on prioritizing relationships with its clients with
the help of open dialogue to identify and provide solutions to the customer’s needs. Consultative
selling follows a framework to help the sales professionals act as consultants and better
understand the challenges faced by customer so they can position their solution in a more
compelling and effective way.
The framework can be broken down into 6 steps.

a shorter sales cycle, and better sales outcomes. Making ensuring that every customer call

methodology.
2. Connect: The sales call's connect phase welcomes participants, makes an impact, and
establishes the mood. A compelling introduction enhances credibility.
3. Understand: The foundation of consultative selling is recognition. Salespeople must
establish a rapport with clients, win and maintain their openness and desire to converse,
and ask a wide variety of inquiries.
4. Recommend: A salesperson's presentation of a certain solution might affect how simple
or complex it is for the customer to understand. Additionally, it can make the salesperson
sound uninteresting or boring. Sales professionals must use engaging language that fits
customer demands while describing capabilities and solutions in order to be persuasive.
5. Commit: By approaching closing as a process, you reduce the chance that you'll be
rejected and raise your chances of getting the client's support.
6. Act: Flawless follow-up with the customer is one of the quickest methods for sales
professionals to establish credibility and set themselves apart. To make sure that every
