Q1. Tell me about yourself?

Hello Good Afternoon, My Full name is Akash Narendra Sharma. I recently moved to Toronto
on a Work Permit and I am currently staying at Mississauga. First and foremost, regarding my
education and work profile,
“I graduated with a Master’s degree majors in Marketing in the year 2014, and then I started my
career in Education Sector in 2015 when I was offered a position of Marketing Manager at
Amity University Mumbai. At Amity University, I loved working with students and managing
and growing the admissions from just 56 to 1200 students when I left in 2017. I also worked for
an International University for few months before ending up joining Ahmedabad University.
Ahmedabad University is an Ivy League University which focuses on Liberal Education
offering 4 years undergraduate program which was founded by Ahmedabad Education Society
(AES). They are also responsible in founding eminent Instutions like IIM Ahmedabd, NID,
CEPT, PRL. Then I was offered a position at FLAME University which is based out of Pune.
One of my key accomplishments during my career in Universities Setup was achieving the
overall quantity of applications, total enrollments & conducting school presentations, and
having good networks in the Education Industry. I have also made a mark on the Indian
Education sector and most of the Schools and Educators know well due to excellent
relationships. Since I recently moved here and I am looking myself working in the same space.
Hence when I saw an opportunity with Oxford College, I was highly excited to apply for the
position.
