Describe the following leadership styles:


a. Autocratic - They are often described as those with ultimate authority and power over
others. These leaders tend to make choices based upon their own ideas alone and do not
listen to their team or seek input from others. Autocratic leaders can promote productivity
through delegation. They provide clear, direct communication and reduce employees stress
by making decisions quickly on their own. But this style of leadership can also cause stress
to the leader, who has to bear all of thd weight of the decision-making.
b. Consultative- Consultative leadership is a leadership style that targets team building and
uses the skills of others to create plans and make decisions. Leaders consult with their team
to obtain their suggestions and opinions to help them make informed and strategic
decisions.

c. Democratic- democratic leaders allow the members of the organization to fully participate
in decision making. Decisions are arrived at by way of consensus. This genuine participation
of members of the organization which is in keeping with school empowerment. The
democratic leadership style does not work unless the leader using itmis honest. Leaders
must be able to communicate the situation accurately to ensure the decisions and feedback
being generated are based on real information.Even when leaders have the final say, the
honesty required for this style forces each leader to share ideas on an equal level for
discussion. By staying open and honest, leader encouragetheir team members to have same
traits.

d. Give some of the qualities or specific behaviors of good leaders by means of this acrostic:
L- Listen to others opinion and ideas.
E- Example of being a good leaders
A- Act like respected leader and must follow what is taught to the student for success in
certains dreams.
D- Determination-a good leader you must be determined enough to achieve certain goals
and plans.
E-Express your thoughts, ideas, lessons and take initiative for the lesson to students who
are struggling to fiinish the schooling despite of the trials and test.
R-Respect others- respect starts from oneself. As a good leader you need to respect others
so that others can respect you.
S-Show Appreciation to others can help and boost once confidence.
