Introduction

This report discusses an analysis of textile

wastewater (DYE) using UV – VIS
spectrophotometer. This is because to
practice the dilution process then determine
the unknown concentration of dye (pollutant)
using UV – Vis Spectrophotometer using
Beer Lambert Law. The equation of Beer
Lambert Law is:

A = εbC

Where A is the absorbance, ε is the molar

absorptivity, b is the length of light path and
C is concentration. This report presents the
procedures for the experiment, the
experiment's results, and an analysis of those
results.

Furthermore, from the experiment

that I have done, it is well
established certainty that during
the process of measurement, it is
not generally can be known as a
thing, for example, precise in the
light of the fact that there is
always error occurred such as
human error. In any case, human
error is tolerated in some cases,
while some not. Calculation of
the mass should be done prior to
doing any analyses. If there are
