Water management

Water use in a swimming pool can be categorized into four major components:
1. Initial filling water
2. Makeup water for maintaining the water level within an operating range
3. Backwash water for cleaning water filters,
4. Cleaning water for pool decks and structures.
A Google form was conducted to estimate the number of users . Along with this , the factors
for swimming pool water usage can be summarized as follows:
1. Size of the pool (surface area and depth) .
2. Local climate: Precipitation, evaporation (air and water temperatures, wind, humidity,
shadowiness, depth .
3. Condition of the pool: Presence and use of a pool cover, temperature of pool water,
presence of water features like a fountain or waterfall, pH and chemical content of
pool water, and leakage .
4. Individual maintenance trends: Frequency of backwashing, frequency and method of
pool and pool deck cleaning  Human behavior: Splashing-out, and swimming habits .
Water sources : existing sources (tap water ) , ground heat pump , Rainwater for sanitation
(flushing) and any other possible sources should be analyzed
Recirculation & Filter : The swimming pool's recirculation system shall consist of pumping
equipment, hair and lint catcher, filters, together with the necessary pipe connections to the
pool inlets and outlets, facilities and pipe connections necessary for backwashing filters, and
facilities and equipment for disinfecting the pool water.
