homework:
Section A
Question 1 :Whose influence has caused rapid and widespread global warming?
Humans influence has warmed the atmosphere, land ,and ocean
Question 2 :How long have the changes to the world’s climate taken?
It could've take 1000of years or even centuries
question3 :What type of weather extremes have we seen more of due to human-induced
climate change?
Evidence of observed changes in extremes such as heatwaves, heavy precipitation,
droughts, and tropical cyclones, and, in particular, their attribution to human influence
question 4: What has helped us to accurately predict the extent of climate change?
paleoclimate evidence and the response of the climate system to increasing
radiative forcing gives a best estimate of equilibrium climate sensitivity of 3°C

Question 5: How does this section make you feel about the role of humans in
creating irreversible climate change?

This makes me feel very annoyed due to the fact that everyone who believes to live
in a clean and healthy environment is suffering to the people who don't care about
this matter and just want to forget about the environment which is very counserning
and upsetting

Section B
Question 1: By how much do we expect the average global temperature to rise in the
21st century? What could stop it?
It will be increased by 1.5 and 2 celsius in 2021 unless deep reduction in
carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emission in coming decades
Question 2: What environmental changes do we expect to see because of an increase in
the world’s temperature?
2

Many changes in the climate system become larger in direct relation to

increasing global warming. They include increases in the frequency and
intensity of hot extremes, marine heatwaves, and heavy precipitation,
agricultural and ecological droughts in some regions, and proportion of
intense tropical cyclones, as well as reductions in Arctic sea ice, snow cover
and permafrost.

Question 3: How might the water cycle be affected by these changes?

The increase of global warming will intensify the global water cycle including its vulnerability
to global monsoon precipitation and severity of wet and dry events.

Question 4: What greenhouse gas are we most worried about (when humans
emit it) in creating climate change?

With increasing co2 emission in the ocean and land carbon sinks are
projected to be less effective at slowing the accumulation of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Question 5: What do we mean when we say this is likely to be ‘irreversible’?

I think what they mean by irreversible is that it can be stoped and can be
started again because if we do stop polluting then we can still try and
saved the world mabey

My opinion :

This report makes me feel like even if we do try and save the world
there's no point because the people who don't care have won and
we've lost. our next generation wont have clean air beautiful animals
or the world to discover and enjoy
