My name is Anna Barabás and I am 15 years

old. I go to school at Berde Mozes Unitarian
High School. I am in class IX.A. I live in
Erdőszentgyörgy with my parents. My mother
is Ágnes Barabás and my father is András
Barabás. My mother is an agricultural officer
at the town hall, and my father is a carpenter
in a furniture factory. I have a 22 years old
brother, Dániel Barabás, but he does not live
with us. He works in a restaurant as a waiter.
Our religion is reformed.
I have been attending this school for 4 years. I
came here when I was 11 years old in grade 5.
I have been living in boarding school since
then. It was not easy to move into boarding
school because I was too young, but I had
people there for me and they helped me.
Beside school I participate in a lot of
afternoon activities. I am in the school’s folk
dance group and in the choir as well. I have
been playing the violin for 5 years now and I
also want to join in the school’s drama group.
I really love books, I love reading! I love
writing when I get some good stories in my
mind. My favourite subjects are history and
languages. After graduation I imagine myself
in a university of history or communication.
The paid I would get from this scholarship
program could help me to pay for the
boarding school, for school supplies and for
the folk dance and violin classes.
