I am Anna and this is my brother Ben.

We are
both seven years old. We live in Barangay
Calamba, Guihulngan, Negros Oriental. Our
birthday is on October 5, 2013. We are
fraternal twins.
Mama Apple says fraternal twins mean that
Ben and I were born at the same time but we
look different. I am a girl. He is a boy.
We love our family. We like to hug Papa Juan
and Mama Apple. We like to hear stories from
Lola Vilma. We enjoy playing with Kuya
Manuel and Kuya Samuel.
We love to go to school and learn to write,
count, and read with Teacher Leslie. We play
with our friends Carlo, Tomas, Aliyah, and
Pearl. We always go home together with our
friends.
We are fraternal twins. I like the color blue
and Ben likes the color pink. I like to sing
while he likes to dance. He loves to draw
while I love to read books.
My favorite food is fried fish with tomatoes
while he likes to eat chicken noodle soup. We
are different but we are always together.

One day, Ben’s tummy is in pain. He was

bought to the hospital by Mama and Papa. I
cannot go because children are not allowed in
the hospital when they are not sick.
I was worried about him. I prayed every day
for his recovery. Finally, he was home after
three days. I was happy he was back. We are
together again.
