MATERIALS

 What is it made from? – Street foods are usually made of fish, flour,
vegetables, and sometimes meat.

 Describe the properties of the – The properties of the materials/product are small,
materials/product. often round in shape, and their are different kinds of
color. It is also classified as both finger food and fast
food.

 How might it be made? – It is a home made product or usually made on the


street and sold.

ENVIRONMENT

 How long would it last? – If hot food cannot be kept at 63°c or above then we
must discard it after two hours. If the temperature of
cold food rises above 8°c the we must dispose of it
within four hours.

 Is it good for the environment? – The use of non- biodegradable plastic packaging for
the sale of street foods has negative environmental
consequences. So we will use paper plates to avoid that
kind of consequences.

AESTHETICS

 What does it look like? – Street foods are ready-to-eat foods. These are small
and oily types of food.

SAFETY

 Is it safe to eat ? – Yes, as long as certain hygiene conditions are met,


there's no reason that street food isn't safe for
consumption.

 Why would the product need to be safe? – Food borne pathogens are recognized as a major
health hazard associated with street foods, the risk
being dependent primarily on the type of food, and the
method of preparation and conservation.

CUSTOMER

 Who would buy it ? – Consumer of street foods are children, pupils,


students, the unemployed, workers, men and women.

 Why would they buy it? – People will buy it because street food is very
affordable. Many people enjoy street foods because
they are usually less expensive than restaurant meals.

COST

 How much? – It cost 10 up to 20 pesos.

 Is it expensive or cheap? – It's so cheap that even those without a job can buy it.

 Where might it be sold? – It can be sold on the streets such as outside of


schools, parks, and in crowded areas.

FUNCTION

 What is it primary function? – It represent a significant part of urban food


consumption for millions of low-and-middle-income
consumers, in urban areas in a daily basis.
It will also serve as snack to people whether young, old,
women, men, workers bad unemployed.
